Dr. Heflin, Assistant Principal
Dr. Heflin has been an administrator at Los Amigos for Five years. Prior to becoming a Lobo, she worked at the GGUSD Office of 7-12 Instruction for two years and was a teacher at Fitz Intermediate for seven years. Dr. Heflin attended Sonoma State University (BA in English), Cal State Long Beach (credential in secondary education in English-Language Arts), and Cal State University Fullerton (Masters’ in Reading). This past year she completed her dissertation through Walden University, where she received her Ed.D in Administrative Leadership. When Dr. Heflin is not helping students or watching Lobo athletic events, she loves spending time with her family and going on walks with her dog, Yahtzee. Dr. Heflin loves being a Lobo and working with the junior and senior classes… go Lobos!

Mr. Mejia came to Los Amigos High School last year and is the 12th grade counselor. Prior to coming to Los Amigos he served as a counselor at Bolsa Grande High School for eight years and a Specialist in Parent and Community Outreach at the GGUSD office for one year. He received his Bachelor’s degree from University of California Riverside and his Masters from California State University Long Beach. Mr. Mejia is excited to be a lobo!
